Championship (Week 18) : Aston Villa beats Sunderland 2-1

ENGLAND, Nov. 21, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 18: Two wins in a row for Aston Villa. After their 1-2 win against QPR on November 18, the Villans continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-1 victory over Sunderland this Tuesday.

Aston Villa dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Ghanaian midfielder Albert Adomah in the 10th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Villans further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Onomah Joshua in the 49th minute.

Aston Villa climbed to fourth place with 32 points from 18 games, 4 points behind Sheffield United FC.
