Championship (Week 20) : Leeds United draw 1-1 with Aston Villa
ENGLAND, Dec. 1, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 20: Aston Villa was held to a 1-1 draw by Leeds United on Friday.
Leeds United players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Swedish defender Pontus Jansson in the 19th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Aston Villa with a saving goal from Aston Villa midfielder Henri Lansbury in the 71st minute.
Aston Villa remains in fourth place with 36 points from 20 games, one point behind Sheffield United FC, which has a game in hand.
