KHARTOUM, Feb. 5, 2011 (AMP) — Sudan 2011 : Algeria defeated Uganda by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a CHAN group stage game on Saturday afternoon at the Khartoum Stadium.
The result put the Algerians top of Group A with 3 points. In their next game, Algeria will meet third-placed Gabon at the Khartoum Stadium on February 8, while Uganda will face Sudan.
