PORT SUDAN, Feb. 7, 2011 (AMP) — Sudan 2011 : Senegal defeated Rwanda by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a CHAN group stage game on Monday afternoon at the Port Sudan Stadium.
The result put the Senegalese top of Group D with 3 points. In their next game, Senegal will meet Angola at the Port Sudan Stadium on February 11, while Rwanda will face Tunisia.
