BUENOS AIRES, Jan. 2, 1937 (AMP) — Argentina 1937 : Paraguay defeated Uruguay by a score of 4-2 (halftime: 3-2), in a Copa América final round game (Final tournament) on Saturday.

The result put the Paraguayans top of the group with 3 points. In their next game, Paraguay will meet third-placed Argentina on January 9, while Uruguay will face Peru.
