SANTIAGO, Feb. 7, 1945 (AMP) — Chile 1945 : Brazil defeated Uruguay by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a Copa América final round game (Final tournament) on Wednesday.

The result put the Brazilians third in the group with 9 points. Uruguay is fourth with 6 points. In their next game, Brazil will meet group leaders Argentina on February 15, while Uruguay will face Bolivia.
