SANTIAGO, Feb. 15, 1945 (AMP) — Chile 1945 : Argentina defeated Brazil by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 3-1), in a Copa América final round game (Final tournament) on Thursday.

The result put the Argentine top of the group with 13 points. Brazil is fourth with 9 points. In their last game, Argentina will meet third-placed Uruguay on February 25, while Brazil will face Ecuador.
