SANTIAGO, Feb. 18, 1945 (AMP) — Chile 1945 : Chile defeated Uruguay by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Copa América final round game (Final tournament) on Sunday.

The result put the Chilians second in the group with 13 points. Uruguay is third with 9 points. In their last game, Chile will meet Brazil on February 28, while Uruguay will face Argentina.
