GUAYAQUIL, Dec. 6, 1947 (AMP) — Ecuador 1947 : Uruguay defeated Chile by a big score of 6-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a Copa América final round game (Final tournament) on Saturday.

The result put the Uruguayans second in the group with 6 points. In their next game, Uruguay will meet Bolivia on December 9, while Chile will face Peru.
