GUAYAQUIL, Dec. 28, 1947 (AMP) — Ecuador 1947 : Argentina defeated Uruguay by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a Copa América final round game (Final tournament) on Sunday. Argentina won the 20th edition of the Copa América, their ninth title in history, Uruguay finished third.
