SANTIAGO, Mar. 6, 1955 (AMP) — Chile 1955 : Chile defeated Peru by a score of 5-4 (halftime: 2-1), in a Copa América final round game (Final tournament) on Sunday.

The result put the Chilians top of the group with 6 points. In their next game, Chile will meet Uruguay on March 13, while Peru will face Ecuador.
