MONTEVIDEO, Jan. 29, 1967 (AMP) — Uruguay 1967 : Uruguay defeated Paraguay by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Copa América final round game (Final tournament) on Sunday.

The result put the Uruguayans second in the group with 10 points. Paraguay is fourth with 3 points. In their last game, Uruguay will meet group leaders Argentina on February 2, while Paraguay will face Venezuela.
