MONTEVIDEO, Feb. 2, 1967 (AMP) — Uruguay 1967 : Uruguay defeated Argentina by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Copa América final round game (Final tournament) on Thursday. Uruguay won the 29th edition of the Copa América, their 11th title in history, Argentina finished second.
