Chile beats Uruguay to advance to Copa América semifinals
SANTIAGO, Jun. 24, 2015 (AMP) — Chile 2015 : Chile reached the semifinals of the 2015 Copa América with a 1-0 win against Uruguay (halftime: 0-0) on Wednesday night at the Estadio Nacional de Chile in Santiago.
45 minutes of play and neither the Chilians nor the Uruguayans have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Chilian midfielder Mauricio Isla with just 9 minutes remaining in regulation time.
