Paraguay beats Brazil in shoot out to advance to Copa América semifinals
CONCEPCIóN, Jun. 27, 2015 (AMP) — Chile 2015 : Paraguay reached the semifinals of the 2015 Copa América after defeating Brazil 4-3 on penalties (after a 1-1 draw) on Saturday night at the Concepción Municipal Stadium.
The score was still 1-1 at the end of the regulation game time and overtime, after goals from Robinho ('15) for Brazil and González ('72 on penalty) for Paraguay. The Paraguayans finally emerged the victors in the penalty shootout session by winning 4-3.
