Chile beats Peru to reach Copa América final
SANTIAGO, Jun. 29, 2015 (AMP) — Chile 2015 : Chile reached the Copa América final for the second time in their history with a 2-1 win against Peru (halftime: 1-0) on Monday night at the Estadio Nacional de Chile in Santiago.
Eduardo Vargas scored dual goals
Chile dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Eduardo Vargas in the 42nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Chilians further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Vargas in the 64th minute.
