SAIPAN, Mar. 25, 2007 (AMP) — China 2008 (Qualifiers) : Guam defeated Northern Mariana Islands by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 EAFF East Asian Cup (Preliminary Round) on Sunday afternoon at the Oleai Sports Complex in Saipan.
The result put the Agana top of the group with 3 points. In their last game, Guam will meet second-placed Northern Mariana Islands at the Oleai Sports Complex on April 1, while Northern Mariana Islands will face Guam.
