PORTO, Jun. 12, 2004 (AMP) — Portugal 2004 : Greece defeated Portugal by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a Euro group stage game on Saturday afternoon.

The result put the Greek top of Group A with 3 points. In their next game, Greece will meet Spain on June 16, while Portugal will face Russia.
