MUSCAT, Oct. 18, 1996 (AMP) — Oman 1996 : The United Arab Emirates tied 1-1 with Bahrain (halftime: 1-0), in a Gulf Cup final round game (Tournament) on Friday at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Muscat.
The result left both teams tied in the fourth place of the group with one point. In their next game, Bahrain will meet second-placed Saudi Arabia at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex on October 21, while the United Arab Emirates will face Kuwait.
