MUSCAT, Oct. 28, 1996 (AMP) — Oman 1996 : Kuwait defeated Qatar by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-0), in a Gulf Cup final round game (Tournament) on Monday at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Muscat. Kuwait won the 13rd edition of the Gulf Cup, Qatar finished second.
