Qatar beats Oman to reach Gulf Cup final
RIYADH, Nov. 23, 2014 (AMP) — Saudi Arabia 2014 : Qatar reached the Gulf Cup final for the third time in their history with a 3-1 win against Oman (halftime: 1-1) on Sunday afternoon at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh.
Assadalla scored dual goals
Saleh opened the score in the 24th minute, before seeing Qatar catch up in the 36th minute thanks to Al Haidos penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. The Qataris eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Assadalla ('59, '67).
