Saudi Arabia beats UAE to reach Gulf Cup final
RIYADH, Nov. 23, 2014 (AMP) — Saudi Arabia 2014 : Saudi Arabia reached the Gulf Cup final for the fourth time in their history with a 3-2 win against the United Arab Emirates (halftime: 2-0) on Sunday night at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh.
Saudi Arabia dominated the first half thanks to goals from Al-Shamrani ('19) and Al Abed ('22). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Saudis further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Al-Dawsari with just 4 minutes remaining in regulation time.
