La Liga (Week 31) : Elche defeats Cordoba 2-0
SPAIN, Apr. 12, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 31: After losing 0-1 to Getafe on April 9, Los Franjiverdes bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Cordoba this Sunday.
Elche dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Chilian defender Roco in the 41st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Franjiverdes further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Pasalic in the 68th minute.
Elche CF climbed to 15th place with 31 points from 31 games, tie on points with SD Eibar.
