SPAIN, Apr. 24, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 33: Two wins in a row for Athletic Bilbao. After their 4-0 win against Getafe on April 18, Los Leones continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 1-0 victory over Cordoba this Friday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Athletic Bilbao midfielder Benat in the 56th minute.
Athletic Bilbao remains in 8th place with 46 points from 33 games, tie on points with Malaga CF, which has a game in hand.
