SPAIN, Sep. 12, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 3: After their 0-0 draw against Rayo Vallecano on August 30 and 1-1 draw against Deportivo La Coruna on August 30, Los Che bounced back with a 1-0 victory over Sporting Gijon this Saturday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Valencia forward Paco Alcácer in stoppage time.
Valencia CF climbed to 6th place with 5 points from 3 games, only one point behind FC Barcelona, which has a game in hand.
