BURNLEY, Aug. 26, 2014 (AMP) — League Cup 2014-15 : Sheffield Wednesday defeated Burnley by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in the League Cup second round on Tuesday night at Turf Moor in Burnley.

Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Austrian forward Atdhe Nuhiu on penalty in the 78th minute.
