ENGLAND, Mar. 12, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 36: Wigan Athletic was held to a 3-3 draw by Colchester United on Saturday.
Wigan Athletic players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Wildschut Yanic ('36) and Colclough Ryan ('44) while Colchester United only scored once Gilbey Alex ('40). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, and despite Grigg Will goal ('90) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Colchester United with goals by Lee Eliott ('50) and Moncur George ('60 on penalty).
Wigan Athletic FC remains in second place with 65 points from 36 games, 6 points behind Burton Albion FC.
