League One (Week 19) : Scunthorpe beats Peterborough 2-0

ENGLAND, Nov. 22, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 19: Five wins in a row for Scunthorpe United. After their success against Chesterfield, Swindon Town, Coventry City and Oldham Athletic, the Iron continued their sensational form in the League One with a 2-0 victory over Peterborough United this Tuesday.

Scunthorpe United dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Van Veen Kevin in the 21st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Iron further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Bishop Neal with just 7 minutes remaining in regulation time.

Scunthorpe United FC remains in first place with 43 points from 19 games, a 6-point lead over runner-up Sheffield United FC, which has a game in hand.
