League One (Week 37) : Oxford beats Peterborough 2-1

ENGLAND, Mar. 11, 2017 (AMP) — League One / Match day 37: After losing 0-2 to Bristol Rovers on March 7 and 2-3 to Sheffield United on March 7, the Boys from Up the Hill returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Peterborough United this Saturday.

Oxford United dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Edwards Phil in the 23rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Boys from Up the Hill further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Mcaleny Conor in the 71st minute.

Oxford United FC climbed to 10th place with 52 points from 35 games, only one point behind Walsall FC.
