League One : Scunthorpe United finish third after beating Coventry City
ENGLAND, Apr. 30, 2017 (AMP) — League One / Match day 46: Five wins in a row for Scunthorpe United. After their success against Bolton Wanderers, Milton Keynes Dons, Chesterfield and Swindon Town, the Iron continued their sensational form in the League One with a 3-1 victory over Coventry City this Sunday.
Coventry City had started off well by taking the lead in the 36th minute with a goal by Gadzhev Vladimir. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Iron nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Van Veen Kevin '52, Bishop Neal '84 and Adelakun Hakeeb '89).
