League One (Week 1) : Scunthorpe and AFC Wimbledon play out 1-1 draw
ENGLAND, Aug. 5, 2017 (AMP) — League One: Scunthorpe United and AFC Wimbledon opened the 2017-2018 season with an entertaining 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Scunthorpe United players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Townsend Conor in the 6th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by AFC Wimbledon with a saving goal from Abdou Nadjim in the 67th minute.
