League Two (Week 4) : Wycombe Wanderers defeats Stevenage 3-1
ENGLAND, Aug. 23, 2014 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 4: After losing 0-2 to Tranmere Rovers on August 19, the Chairboys bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Stevenage this Saturday.
Stevenage opened the score in the score in the 31st minute thanks to Charles, before Wycombe Wanderers regained the advantage with Hayes ('40) and Murphy ('44). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Chairboys further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Mcclure seconds before the end of regulation.
Wycombe Wanderers FC climbed to fifth place with 9 points from 4 games, only one point behind Burton Albion FC.
