League Two (Week 17) : Stevenage beats Cheltenham 5-1
ENGLAND, Nov. 15, 2014 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 17: After their 2-2 draw against Tranmere Rovers on November 1, Boro' returned to winning ways with a 5-1 victory over Cheltenham Town this Saturday.
Beardsley and Barnard scored dual goals
Stevenage dominated the first half thanks to goals from Beardsley ('5, '34) and Lee ('8). Leading 3-0 at the break, Boro' further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Barnard '74, '81).
Stevenage FC climbed to 11st place with 24 points from 17 games, tie on points with Newport County AFC, which has a game in hand.
