League Two (Week 36) : Exeter beats AFC Wimbledon 3-2
ENGLAND, Mar. 14, 2015 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 36: Two wins in a row for Exeter City. After their 1-3 win against Carlisle United on March 7, the Grecians continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 3-2 victory over AFC Wimbledon this Saturday.
Nichols scored dual goals
AFC Wimbledon had started off well by taking the lead in the 4th minute with a goal by Akinfenwa. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Grecians nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Nichols '54, '66 on penalty and Wheeler '70).
Exeter City FC climbed to 11st place with 50 points from 36 games, 3 points behind Northampton Town FC.
