League Two (Week 3) : Cambridge United defeats AFC Wimbledon 2-1

ENGLAND, Aug. 18, 2015 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 3: After their 4-4 draw against Carlisle United on August 15, The U's returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over AFC Wimbledon this Tuesday.

AFC Wimbledon had started off well by taking the lead in the 12th minute with a goal by Elliott Tom. Trailing 1-0 at half time, The U's nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Legge Leon '46 and Corr Barry '48).

Cambridge United FC climbed to fourth place with 7 points from 3 games, 2 points behind Hartlepool United FC.
