League Two (Week 13) : Morecambe defeats AFC Wimbledon 5-2
ENGLAND, Oct. 17, 2015 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 13: Two wins in a row for Morecambe. After their 2-3 win against Carlisle United on October 10, the Shrimps continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 5-2 victory over AFC Wimbledon this Saturday.
Miller Shaun scored dual goals
AFC Wimbledon opened the score in the score in the 4th minute thanks to Barcham Andy, before Morecambe regained the advantage with Miller Shaun ('9 on penalty, '13) and Goodall Alan ('45). Leading 3-1 at the break, the Shrimps further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Barkhuizen Tom '80 and Mullin Paul '90).
Morecambe FC climbed to 9th place with 20 points from 13 games, only one point behind Northampton Town FC, which has a game in hand.
