League Two (Week 19) : Oxford draw 1-1 with Newport
ENGLAND, Nov. 24, 2015 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 19: Oxford United was held to a 1-1 draw by Newport County on Tuesday.
Newport County players started off well by taking the lead thanks to John-lewis Lenell in the 43rd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Oxford United with a saving goal from Hoban Patrick in the 72nd minute.
Oxford United FC remains in second place with 37 points from 19 games, 2 points behind Plymouth Argyle FC.
