ENGLAND, Mar. 12, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 36: After two straigth victories against Stevenage and Accrington Stanley, Pompey lost 3-0 against Newport County.
Newport County dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Jones Dafydd in the 34th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Exiles further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Boden Scott '69 and Morgan Dean '87).
Portsmouth FC are down in 6th place with 59 points from 36 games, one point behind Accrington Stanley FC, which has a game in hand.
