ENGLAND, Mar. 28, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 39: Northampton Town was held to a 2-2 draw by Mansfield Town on Monday.
Mansfield Town players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Green Matt ('12 and '16. However, even though they were leading 2-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Northampton Town with goals by Holmes Ricky ('64 on penalty) and Marquis John ('68).
Northampton Town FC remains in first place with 86 points from 39 games, a 13-point lead over runner-up Oxford United FC.
