League Two (Week 1) : Crewe and Mansfield play to a 2-2 draw
ENGLAND, Aug. 5, 2017 (AMP) — League Two: Crewe Alexandra and Mansfield Town opened the 2017-2018 season with an entertaining 2-2 draw on Saturday.
Crewe Alexandra players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Porter Chris in the 45th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Porter Chris goal ('63) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Mansfield Town with goals by Rose Danny ('55) and Mirfin David ('66).
