League Two (Week 4) : Newport defeats Chesterfield 4-1
WALES, Aug. 26, 2017 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 4: Two wins in a row for Newport County. After their 0-1 win against Coventry City on August 19, the Exiles continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 4-1 victory over Chesterfield this Saturday.
Nouble Frank scored tripple goals
Chesterfield had started off well by taking the lead in the 37th minute with a goal by O Grady Chris. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Exiles nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring four times in the second period (Nouble Frank '55, '66, '68 and Amond Padraig '82).
Newport County AFC climbed to second place with 8 points from 4 games, 2 points behind Exeter City FC.
