League Two (Week 5) : Accrington defeats Morecambe 2-1
ENGLAND, Sep. 2, 2017 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 5: After their 2-2 draw against Notts County on August 25, Stanley returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Morecambe this Saturday.
Accrington Stanley dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Kee Billy in the 31st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Stanley further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Clark Jordan seconds before the end of regulation.
Accrington Stanley FC climbed to third place with 10 points from 5 games, only one point behind Stevenage FC.
