League Two (Week 9) : Notts beats Lincoln City 4-1
ENGLAND, Sep. 23, 2017 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 9: Five wins in a row for Notts County. After their success against Port Vale, Morecambe, Swindon Town and Crawley Town, the Magpies continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 4-1 victory over Lincoln City this Saturday.
Notts County dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Stead Jon in the 39th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Magpies further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Tootle Matt '55, Grant Jorge '71 and Hawkridge Terry '88).
Notts County FC climbed to first place with 22 points from 9 games, tie on points with runner-up Exeter City FC.
