ENGLAND, Oct. 17, 2017 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 14: Two wins in a row for Port Vale. After their 3-1 win against Cheltenham Town on October 14, the Valiants continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 3-0 victory over Morecambe this Tuesday.
Pope Tom scored dual goals
Port Vale dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Pope Tom in the 18th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Valiants further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Pope Tom '67 and Montano Cristian '90).
Morecambe FC remains in 20th place with 13 points from 14 games, one point behind Crawley Town FC.
