FRANCE, Sep. 27, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 8: Two wins in a row for Evian. After their 2-1 win against Lens on September 24, Evian continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-0 victory over Lorient this Saturday.
Evian dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Burkinabé midfielder Djakaridja Koné in the 2nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Evian players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Barbosa in the 79th minute.
Lorient remains in 17th place with 7 points from 8 games, tie on points with Bastia.
