Ligue 1 (Week 29) : Saint-Etienne defeats Metz 3-2
FRANCE, Mar. 14, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 29: Two wins in a row for Saint-Etienne. After their 2-0 win against Lorient on March 8, Saint-Etienne continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 3-2 victory over Metz this Saturday.
Saint-Etienne dominated the first half thanks to goals from Gradel ('38) and Erdinç ('42). Leading 2-0 at the break, Saint-Etienne players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Mollo with just 10 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Saint-Etienne remains in fifth place with 49 points from 29 games, one point behind AS Monaco, which has a game in hand.
