Ligue 1 (Week 27) : Lorient beats Guingamp 4-3
FRANCE, Feb. 20, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 27: After losing 2-1 to Nantes on February 13, Lorient bounced back with a 4-3 victory over Guingamp this Saturday.
Waris Majeed scored dual goals
Guingamp had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Salibur ('3, '37), while Lorient only scored once Waris Majeed ('38). Trailing 2-1 at half time, Lorient players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Jeannot '48, Waris Majeed '49 and Guerreiro '90).
Lorient climbed to 12nd place with 34 points from 27 games, only one point behind Olympique de Marseille, which has a game in hand.
