FRANCE, Sep. 11, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 4: Two wins in a row for Metz. After their 2-0 win against Angers on August 27, Metz continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 3-0 victory over Nantes this Sunday.
Mevlüt Erdinç scored tripple goals
Metz dominated the first half thanks to goals from Erdinç ('18, '45). Leading 2-0 at the break, Metz players further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Erdinç on penalty in the 78th minute.
Metz climbed to second place with 9 points from 4 games, only one point behind AS Monaco.
