Ligue 1 (Week 11) : RCS hold Angers to 2-2
FRANCE, Oct. 28, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 11: The match between RC Strasbourg and Angers ended in a 2-2 draw on Saturday.
RC Strasbourg players started off well by taking the lead thanks to RC Strasbourg defender Kenny Lala on penalty in the 28th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Terrier Martin goal ('77) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Angers with goals by Karl Toko Ekambi ('68) and Gilles Sunu ('75).
Angers SCO remains in 12nd place with 13 points from 11 games, one point behind Toulouse, which has a game in hand.
