Ligue 1 (Week 14) : PSG beats Monaco 2-1
FRANCE, Nov. 26, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 14: Four wins in a row for PSG. After their success against Nice, Angers and Nantes, PSG continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-1 victory over Monaco this Sunday.
PSG dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Uruguayan forward Edinson Cavani in the 19th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, PSG players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Neymar on penalty in the 52nd minute.
Paris Saint-Germain remains in first place with 38 points from 14 games, a 9-point lead over runner-up Olympique Lyonnais.
